The institution, managed by the Carmelite Nuns of Vimala Province of the Congregation of Mother of Carmel (CMC), places a strong emphasis on inclusive education and holistic development.The Minority Cell at St. Joseph College of Teacher Education for Women ensures that minority students receive necessary guidance and support in their academic and personal development. This cell works alongside other statutory bodies within the college, such as the SC/ST Monitoring Cell, OBC Cell, and the Internal Complaints Committee, to create a supportive and equitable educational environment.

1. Ensuring fair representation of minority students in admissions,

3. Offering support services to help minority students overcome academic,
social, or personal challenges.
4. Providing information and assistance to minority students regarding
available scholarships, grants, and financial aid opportunities.
Term: The Minority Cell reconstituted every three years.
Meeting: The Minority Cell assembles once in a year.
