Arts Day 2024 at St. Joseph College of Teacher Education for Women, Ernakulam

The Arts Day 2024 at St. Joseph College of Teacher Education for Women, Ernakulam, was a vibrant and grand celebration, held on 28th November 2024 at 9:30 AM in the college auditorium. The event was meticulously coordinated by Mrs. Anu Cleetus, with Ms. Naseeha Farsana M. N., the Arts Club Secretary, playing a key role in its organization.

The program commenced with an inaugural ceremony graced by K. A. Anson, Assistant Commandant of the Kerala Armed Force, who officially inaugurated the festivities. Dr. Alice Joseph, the esteemed Principal of the college, presided over the function, offering inspiring words that set the tone for the event.

The Arts Fest, a highlight of the college’s cultural calendar, spanned two weeks, showcasing the talents of students across a wide spectrum of artistic domains. The fest included nearly 19 offstage competitions such as essay writing, painting, and photography, alongside 10 onstage events like dance, drama, and music, each marked by enthusiastic participation and spirited performances.

The auditorium echoed with applause as students demonstrated their creativity and skills, fostering a sense of camaraderie and cultural appreciation among participants and spectators alike. The event was not only a celebration of art but also a testament to the college’s commitment to nurturing holistic development and promoting artistic excellence among its students.The valedictory session was inaugurated by Mr Dhanush Nayanar,Popular film sound designer.
