On August 29, 2024, St. Joseph College of Teacher Education for Women, Ernakulam, hosted a dynamic Health and Wellness Marathon in celebration of National Sports Day. Held at Queen’s Walkway, Goshree Road, the event was organized in collaboration with NSS Units No. 240 and 217, the Social Service Club, Health Club, and Eco Club. The marathon, inaugurated by Mr. Jayakumar C, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Central Police Station, featured various race distances including 5K and 10K runs, along with health and wellness booths offering fitness advice and eco-friendly lifestyle tips. This initiative successfully promoted physical activity, community engagement, and environmental awareness, showcasing the effective teamwork of the college’s student organizations.
